    Abstract Relief

    Mechanical Abstract Relief

    Description:

    Nine abstract composition concepts, visually communicating a mechanism's (can opener) physical action, were drawn in 17" x 14" format. India Ink was then applied with pen and brush. The 2-D composition was brought into a relief by cutting, folding, bending and gluing of the elements. A final 17" x 14" Bristol board and India ink relief composition is set with Black Matte Board.
